Mark Trudeau, a life-long hunter and
outdoorsman, has been a professional farmer for over
thirty years, long before he joined The Whitetail
Institute as one of its very first Field Testers in
1988. As a Field Tester, Mark exhibited his uniquely
practical, hands-on knowledge of forages, farming
practices, soil-preparation issues and herbicides. This,
and the meticulous agricultural practices and record
keeping that remain the hallmark of his work, prompted
The Institute to hire Mark full-time as a Field Product
Specialist.
Over the years, Mark has taken on ever-increasing
responsibilities for The Institute, and he is now our National Sales
Manager. While he enjoys his new supervisory responsibilities, Mark still
services his long-time and new clients, and he says that he will never
depart from the hands-on customer contact that have made his work with The
Institute such a success.
“I have hunted and
farmed all my life. The chance to pass on what I know about agriculture
and deer nutrition to my fellow hunters has to be the best job in the
world. I’ll never stop farming, and I’ll never stop helping anyone who
comes to our company for advice.” Mark loves interacting with customers
and attending hunting and trade shows where he will represents Institute
products. Certainly no one knows them better or has used them more
successfully than Mark.
