I thought
I would send you a photo of my Imperial raised buck. He's an eleven
point, 3 1/2 year old and weighed 195 pounds dressed. This is the fourth
3 ½ year old we've taken off our property in the last four years. My
hunting buddy Randy and I have been doing the Imperial food plots since
1996. Since both of us are in wheelchairs we get help planting from good
friends Tracy (Pot's) and his brother Terry (Duke). This year we went
with the
Secret Spot, No-Plow and Winter-Greens along with the normal maintenance
on the perennials. The deer are really starting to utilize the
Winter-Greens since its gotten cold. Unlike most annuals, it's not eaten
all at once. So it looks like there will be plenty for them to forage
when the dead of winter sets in. |
