James Robinson – Texas

I was sitting in my favorite stand at our ranch outside of Lampasas, Texas, and there was a small patch of Imperial Whitetail Clover in front of me, and it was about 5:30 p.m. I was sitting there, and I heard something come in behind me, so I looked. It was a small buck, and when I looked back a big buck I had not seen in front of me saw me and ran, and I was so mad at myself, and all I could do is hope he would come back, and he did and I got him. He was a nine point, and he scored 161 3/8.
