Our first planting of Imperial Whitetail Clover produced. Daily deer activity brought sightings of some 15 different 1 1/2-year-old bucks. Our food plot was a 2-acre planting on our 37-acre farm. These sightings were an increase of 50-70 percent over previous years. Eventually, during the November muzzleloader season, my son, Trail, harvested his best buck ever as the buck followed two does into the clover just before dark.
