I’ve attached a photo of a quality buck I took off of one of your food
plots this season. It is a personal best for me. When I bought my house
and 13 acres of land, I had neighbors tell me I would get nothing to grow
because of the rocky soil and general poor soil quality. Being from
Missouri originally, I took the Show Me attitude and said to myself I can
get it to grow! With limited equipment, a Ford F-150 and an old harrow
left there by the previous owners, I accepted the challenge before me. I’m
sure I looked like Eddie Albert from Green Acres to my neighbors but I
pressed on with the project anyway.
Your customer support is above and beyond what I expected, they truly
answered my questions and set my mind at ease. I bought your sample packs
and planted about 1/2-acre plot. It took some time to come up but when it
did I was amazed, as were my neighbors. They were full of questions and
generally impressed with my (our) accomplishments. I have an average of 10
to 15 deer on the plot every night. Most of them being quality bucks.
I hunted two bucks
in particular knowing that one of the big boys would slip up. I managed to
harvest the buck in the photo after three blown attempts. I finally shot
the buck at 25 yards with my bow. Other than my joy of harvesting the
12-point buck, I also have the knowledge that the other buck is bigger
still and my son’s rifle season is just around the corner.
