Brad Anderson – Kansas

I hunt a tree line that is about 20 yards wide and 1/2 mile long. Deer often pass through the area, but do not often stay. I rarely see any mature bucks using the travel way, but does often feel safe there and use it frequently. I put out a bag of Cutting Edge Optimize, and 30-06 to hold the deer there over the summer until bow season. It worked, and I regularly saw does in the tree line. You know what they say, during the rut, if you find the does you’re going to find the bucks.

Enclosed is a picture of the deer I harvested with my bow during the rut in November in that same tree line. He grossed 188 5/8 and netted 177 4/8 Pope & Young. Thanks for a great supplement for the deer to have.
