Imperial Whitetail Beets & Greens features annual seed varieties that are designed to work together to attract and hold deer throughout the fall and winter.

These include the Whitetail Institute’s proprietary kale, turnip and radish varieties, as well as the sweet attractiveness of sugar beets. These components are included in the Beets & Greens food plot in ratios that Whitetail Institute testing has proven will provide abundant, highly attractive tonnage from early fall through late winter, as well as tubers to help deer through the harsh winter months. Designed for planting in the fall, Beets & Greens establishes and grows quickly.

    Germination

Posted by Michael B. on 22nd Dec 2021

We got the seeds in the ground with rain in the forecast. Added 13-13-13 to enhance the growth of the plant. Ph balance was at 6 and the deer ate them down to the ground.

    Vs. other products

Posted by Kyle on 19th Oct 2021

I bought the beats and greens and my old man bought another brand of brassicas, rape and a bag of turnips. Both were planted on two different locations with almost identical soils. Both plots were tended the same way. The whitetail institute has visually better results and I’m seeing more deer using this plot over the other. 5/5

    Beets and Greens

Came up right away. Looks like near 100% germination. Growing rapidly. Waiting for cooler weather to trigger the deer to feed more heavily.

    BEETS AND GREENS

Posted by George on 18th Nov 2020

Grew fast. Brought deer in when growing, however, did not produce as much activity later on. Was told it was timed to produce longer. Looked strong and healthy and easy to apply though. Someone recently told me not to cover or turn it after laying it down. ...Just to leave it on top. I may have applied it so that the late stuff never took off. Will read instructions again. Regardless better than any other single product I've tried so far.

    Favorite Plot Mix

Posted by Dave on 5th Nov 2020

Have used this product for 2 years now and not only my favorite but also the deer. The first year I was concerned since they didn't touch it till after a hard frost then they mowed it from knee high to bare dirt. This year they are on it prior to any hard frost. Will always have a couple plots of Beets and Greens on the farm.

    Made mature bucks vulnerable

Posted by Mark Z on 16th Oct 2020

It's early October , and both my dad and I filled our buck tags with mature bucks thanks to this product. We had several large 9 pointers coming to our plot during daylight consistently to fill up on Beets and Greens. Usually most mature bucks feed after dark, but I believe this product was so irresistible that they couldn't wait. We had them on camera coming every evening between 4 and 6pm. That pattern continued right into archery season, and now they are at our taxidermist. Great Product.
